Africa 2050: Will Africa claim the 21st century?

As an African, parent and technologist, I have no doubt my children will claim the 21st century. They will be enlightened and educated about the importance of sustainability and not to make the same mistakes of the First and Second Worlds that have put us in this current global crisis that we find ourselves in. The World and especially China has its eye on Africa for a reason. We have enormous wealth in minerals and resources. My children will not learn to speak Mandarin for the sake of the Chinese. Instead, they will learn to not tolerate any exploitation of our mineral wealth and not to be manipulated by corrupt politicians. We have the spirit of Ubuntu and are able to tolerate differences in culture. The technological revolution has made our world a cultural and social place. The communities of Africa will unit and Africa will be a paradise.

Social Entrepreneurship :Creating Both Private Value and Social Value

The term "Entrepreneur" can be traced back the French economics literature of the seventeenth century, where it came to be used to identify venturesome individuals who stimulated economic progress by finding new and better ways of doing things.

"shifts economic resources out of an area of lower and into an area of higher

productivity and greater yield"
